If you live in New York City and you need a passport today, then you are in luck! If you live in Las Vegas and you need a passport today, well… you’re out of luck. Reminder: The US Department of State has rescheduled Passport Day in the USA for Saturday, Sept. 17th, 2011. Originally, the passport event was scheduled for April 9th, 2011 but was canceled due to the possible government shutdown.
The annual passport event gives people an opportunity to apply for passports on Saturday. Government passport facilities are not normally open for business on Saturdays. However, Rush Passport™ is always open on Saturdays.
