Emergency US passportDo you have a passport emergency?  Do you need to obtain a passport as soon as possible?  If you are considering traveling overseas, but don’t have a passport yet, there is still time to get a passport.  You can get passport within 24 hours and be on your way overseas in a snap!  If need to get a US passport quickly, Rush Passport™ can help!  Whether you have an expired passport, lost passport, or if you are applying for a first time US passport, Rush Passport™ can make your trips come true.

The passport application process can seem like a daunting task for passport applicants who are applying for a first time passport.  But, at Rush Passport™, we can make it easy to get a US passport.

The first step in getting a passport is to complete the passport application.  You can get the passport application by clicking here: New US Passport Application

It is essential to remember to sign the passport application once it is submitted in person.

Another thing that you will need is two passport photos.  The passport photos must be in accordance with the passport guidelines.  Passport photos need to present the subject framed with full face, frontal view, and open eyes.

The passport photo needs to feature full head from top of head to bottom of the chin.  The face should be centered inside of the passport photo.  The subject should be photographed against a plain white background with no distracting shadows on subject’s face.  The person should display a natural expression to ensure that the passport photos will be accepted.  The passport photos will then be submitted at the passport agency along with the passport application.

Rush Passport™ , passport expeditors, accepts US passport applications at our New York City passport agency.  Be sure to have your 2 passport photos, your unsigned passport application, proof of U.S. citizenship, valid identification, and the accompanying passport fees.  If you do not have your passport photos, don’t worry – we can take the passport photos at our passport expediting office.

Currently, the US State Department is processing passports from between 4-6 weeks,  However, if you need to travel within the next two weeks, that’s not good enough.  Rush Passport™ can help.  At Rush Passport™ we can help you get your passport in the same day.  Our passport expediting service is the quickest and most reliable method when you need to get your US passport in a hurry.

You may apply for a US passport booklet or a US passport card.  It is also possible to apply for both the US passport booklet and the US passport card simultaneously.  It is important to understand that while a US passport card is less expensive than a US passport booklet, it is not as widely accepted as a US passport booklet.

According to the US State Department, a US passport card is valid only for entering the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda at land border crossings or sea ports of entry.  A US passport booklet is more widely accepted all over the world for all ports of entry including airports.

Passport Lindsay Lohan

Passport Lost or Stolen? Call Rush Passport™ 24 hours a day at 1-877-937-8472

Lindsay Lohan is stuck in France.  The troubled actress maintains that she can’t make her Beverly Hills court date to face DUI charges because her passport was stolen.

According to her lawyer, “Lindsay went to the airport yesterday in an attempt to get home, even though she did not have her passport and she was turned away.”

In the event that your passport is lost or stolen, there are some steps that you should follow:

It is important to report a lost or stolen passport immediately in order to protect yourself from identity fraud.  Your country’s embassy or consulate should be able to assist you in getting a replacement passport.  It is a good idea to start the process of passport replacement as soon as possible.

If you do happen to find your passport after reporting it lost or stolen, it will be considered invalid and can no longer be used for travel.

According to sources close to Lohan “She has filled out an application for a new passport. We’ve filed the necessary police reports. We’re actively trying to get her home.”

If your passport has been lost or stolen, feel free to call Rush Passport™ 24 hours a day / 7 days a week at Tri-State Area 212- 643-9305, Toll Free: 1-877-937-7277 or Nationwide: 1-877-937-8472.
