Passport renewal doesn’t have to be complicated. For some reason when people think of passports, they think of a bureaucratic mess. People associate first time passports and passport renewal with red tape. Fill out this form, fill out another form, wait in line for hours, wait on another line. However the passport application process should not be so difficult.
If you have a passport emergency and you need same day passport service, contact the Passport professionals at Rush Passport™. If you have lost your passport or found out that your passport is expired and you need to travel within the next 14 days, then that constitutes as a passport emergency. This situation qualifies you for expedited passport services.
Rush Passport™ is the Official Expeditor of US Passports, registered with the US Department of State and Foreign Consulates. Rush Passport™ can solve your passport problems. Our passport office is conveniently located in Midtown Manhattan.
If you need a US passport card or other passport services such as an expedited passport, emergency passport, same day passport, US Passport book or passport photos be sure to contact Rush Passport™. Lost Passport? Stolen Passport?
Passport lost? Is your passport lost or has your passport been stolen? As you know, your US passport is a very important document that must be protected. However, it is possible to lose your passport or have your passport stolen if you are not careful. If your passport has been lost or stolen, then you should take action as quickly as possible.
If you have lost your passport and you are overseas, you must contact the nearest US Embassy as soon as possible. The embassy will supply you with instructions on how to replace the missing passport.
However, if you are in the US, and you have lost your US passport, you must contact the US Dept of State at 1-877-487-2778 to invalidate your passport. Remember that once your passport has been reported missing, it cannot be revalidated. A new passport must be issued.
If you have a passport emergency and need your passport for travel within the next 14 days, then you may apply for an expedited passport. You will need to present proof of citizenship, identification, 2 passport photos and you must fill out the passport application and pay the passport fees.
Did you know that you can get a same day passport if needed? Some people just assume that they must cancel their travel plans, but you may be eligible for a same day passport as long as your trip is within 14 days. You will need to provide proof of pending travel to qualify for an expedited passport.
If you need a US passport card or other passport services such as an expedited passport, emergency passport, same day passport, US Passport book or passport photos be sure to contact Rush Passport™. You can visit us at http://www.rushpassport.com or call us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to speak with a Live Passport Agent. Tired of waiting around for your passport to arrive? The US Department of State generally processes passports within 4-6 weeks. If that seems like a long time to wait for your passport, imagine if you lived in Pakistan. Currently, over 50,000 passport applicants who applied for their passports over 2 months ago are still waiting for their passports to arrive. The passport problems are being blamed on faulty passport printing machines and a shortage of passport lamination paper. The passport lamination paper is used to cover the machine-readable passports.
It seems like this is a recurring problem as the passport printing has been delayed for the same reasons 3 times in the past 3 years. The passport agency has not taken steps to correct these issues. In the meantime, Pakistani passport officials say that they are awaiting the arrival of new passport printing machines from Germany.
Can you just imagine all of the people with expired passports, lost passports who have applied for a new passport and are still waiting? What about all of the passport applicants applying for first time passports? The problems have had an effect on all passport applications, whether adult passport or child passport.
Some people are due to leave the county in the upcoming days and their passport has still not arrived. People need passports to visit sick relatives and unfortunately some travelers do not get their passport in time to see their relatives before they pass away. Other travelers have complained of corruption as passport officials are being bribed to get passport applicants expedited passports.
If you need a US passport or other passport services such as an expedited passport, emergency passport, same day passport, US Passport book, US Passport Card, or passport photos be sure to contact Rush Passport™. Passports are not as popular with US citizens as people expect. The latest US passport statistics have been released and surprisingly enough, just 30% of US citizens are US passport holders. Are you shocked by the number of Americans without US passports? How many Americans actually have a passport? Which states have the highest ratio of citizens that are US passport holders? Do states on or close to the coast tend to have higher ratios of citizens to US passports than land locked states?
Yes, its true. States that are either on, or close to the coasts have a tendency to feature the highest percentage of citizens holding US passports. The top states with the highest ratios valid US of citizens to passports are California, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Delaware. All of these states feature over 60% of the citizens with US passports. Do you know which state has the overall highest ratio of citizens to passports? If you guessed New York, you’re wrong. If you think California has the highest passport to citizen ratio, then you are wrong again. It’s not Massachusetts either. Nor is Delaware the leader in passport ratio. Yup, you guessed it, New Jersey is the winner with over 68% of its citizens holding valid US passports.
There is one state that has the lowest percentage passport holders. Do you know which state it is? Here’s a hint: It’s not east of the Mississippi or west of the Mississippi because it is Mississippi. Less than 20% of Mississippi citizens hold US passports.
Regardless of what state you live in, Rush Passport™ can help make your trips come true.

Do you need a US passport today? Is your US passport expired? Do you need a passport for a trip that you are planning to take overseas? Getting a US passport can be a daunting task for some people. The US passport application has to be filled out just right. The passport photos have to satisfy the passport guidelines. And if you need your passport quick – there is a passport expediting process to contend with.
For a Pennsylvania man, an American who has been trying to get his passport renewed, the passport process has been a nightmare. Since June 2010, Michael Hudson has been trying to get his US passport renewed so that he can visit his son in Bermuda.
For regular passport applicants, the process can take four to six weeks. For this man, the passport process has taken 7 months and he still has nothing to show for it. After contacting the Passport office in Portsmouth, New Hampshire he was told that his passport application is still being processed.
The man, a 54 year old US citizen with no criminal record has been waiting in limbo for his passport to arrive. The passport office has asked Hudson to produce more information about his education, medical history, financial status and family background.
He has already sent the passport agency copies of his credit card and Social Security card, driver’s license, water bill and a school report card and is still waiting.
Don’t let this happen to you. If you need a passport, let the passport experts at Rush Passport™ make your trips come true!

Need a US Passport in a hurry? Do you have a passport emergency? Are you looking for a rush passport? Do you need a same day passport? You have two choices, go to the nearest US passport office or go to Rush Passport™, Official Passport Expeditors registered with the US Department of State and Foreign Consulates. After reading a recent blog entry by Rick Hill written for San Antonio, Texas online news site blog.MySanAntonio.com – there is only one choice – Rush Passport™.
His difficulties getting a passport are chronicled in a blog entry aptly titled “Passport to Hell”. First, Mr. Hill commends the US Department of State on putting together easy to use passport applications that are self-explanatory. Then he goes on to say that the passport fee structure is ‘straightforward.’
Mr. Hill’s quest began at a US Post Office that offered passport services. Although the hours stated that the passport center was open from 8:00am – 4:00pm, after arriving at 8:20am he was told that they had fulfilled their day’s quote for passport applications for the day by 7:45 am.
Hill returned to the post office to get his passport four days later. This time, he arrived at 7:35 am. He was fourth in line for passport services. At 8 am the passport center opened up and he sat in the passport office waiting room. There were no magazines or televisions. The only items for his viewing pleasure were the several signs reminding passport applicants not to fight or try to cut the line. There were also some “diagrams on how to contain your cough.”
Forty minutes went by and nobody had even spoken to him yet about getting a passport. Another hopeful passport applicant informed Mr. Hill that the passport center opened at 8:00am but not begin processing until 9:00am.
Here are some of the comments that Mr. Hill overheard from other passport hopefuls:
■“Why don’t they let you know online about the 25 passport limit?”
■“I didn’t know there would be so much drama just to get a piece a paper that allows you to leave the country.”
■“The way to go is to book an appointment at some locations but the one I checked had a 5 week wait.”
■“My neighbor was stuck here for 8 hours so I’ll do back-flips if I’m done by lunch.”
■ “I bet once they open they’ll be very efficient. It’s all they do so they should have it down to a science.”
Finally at 9:04 am, a passport clerk arrived and read the passport application rules. She let it be known that she would be the only one processing passport applications and that passport applicants would need to have all paperwork completed in advance. She also told them that there were no public restrooms.
It took 16 minutes to process the first passport application. That meant that the 25th person to walk in would have to wait over 6 hours.
Finally at 9:47 am Mr. Hill’s passport application was reviewed. The passport application process was done at 10:02am.
Mr. Hill called this experience ‘Passport Hell’. This was his experience in a small post office in San Antonio, Texas. Now just imagine what the experience would be like at the passport center in New York City!
Take some advice, getting a passport shouldn’t be stressful. Leave it to Rush Passport™, Official Passport Expeditors registered with the US Department of State and Foreign Consulates.

People are obsessed with celebrities. In a previous Rush Passport™ passport blog entry it was reported that a passport employee was even hit with felony charges for accessing confidential celebrity passports.
However, you can see some of the world’s most famous celebrity passport applications here at Rush Passport™’s celebrity passport blog. Can you guess whose passport application states that he is going to Havana, Cuba for the purpose of “baseball playing”? It’s not Fidel Castro’s application – but here’s a hint – ever heard of the Sultan of Swat? Give up? You’ll have to check Rush Passport™’s passport blog over this next week to find out. At Rush Passport™’s passport blog, we will be giving you access to 6 of the most famous celebrities of the past 100 years – and don’t worry – there won’t be any felony charges filed against you.
Thanks to the Freedom of Information Act, to access celebrity passport applications, you don’t even need a publicist’s approval or a big payout… this information is all free. All you have to do is ask the State Department. Passport applications list such details as birth and marriage histories, travel plans, autographs, and some of them even include passport photos.
While I did say that this juicy celebrity passport database is all free – I didn’t say that it would be quick. Unlike the passport expediting process – that can take as little as 6 hours at Rush Passport™, the celebrity passport application requests took approximately a year and a half to process.
For some reason, the last time we checked, Elvis Presley’s passport application was off limits. There was no formal explanation from the State Department.
Another celebrity passport application states that a woman was taking the Queen Mary to Europe on “business.” Her husband is listed as Joseph Paul DiMaggio. I guess that’s enough of hint to figure out whom that celebrity passport application belongs to.
In addition to finding out some great facts about our favorite celebrities, the celebrity passport applications of the past asked for some additional information that is not on today’s passport application. For example, in 1920 passport applicants were asked to list the size of their mouths, and the shape of their chins and foreheads. Passport applications only cost $2 back then and passports were only valid for 2 years.
It is also important to note that passports were not required for US citizens (except for a brief time during the Civil War) until 1941.
Today passports are required to go to Mexico and Canada whereas a driver’s license used to be enough. Passports are also valid for 10 years. Today’s passports feature biometric passport chips that contain important passport holder data.
Check back at Rush Passport™‘s passport blog to see which celebrity passport applications we will be posting.
