It is also wise to make sure you’ve got all your belongings prior to exiting the aircraft. This way you can notify a flight attendant and file the report before you exit the airport.
Use Transportation Security Administration-approved locks. This allows you to lock your bag while providing access to TSA inspectors who have a master key.
